New Classes:- Geothermal Heat Pumps - 4 hours
This class will cover heat pump operation, installation, and servicing the geothermal heat pump. - Nate Core Refresher - 12 hours
This class will cover pretest review and tips on Nate Core test topics. - Refrigeration Cycle Diagnostics - 4 hrs
Technicians will learn about thermodynamics, refrigeration cycle operation, superheating, subcooling and proper diagnostic procedures related to fixed metering and TXV metering systems. - Diagnostic Service Calls - 4 hrs
Service technicians will use interactive tools to diagnose both electrical and mechanical problems relating to a residential split system. - Fixed and TXV Charging Procedures - 4 hrs
HVAC installers and service technicians will be taught how to properly charge both fixed and TXV metering systems. Superheat measurements and charging chart usage are emphasized. - R-22/R-410A Mechanical Refrigeration Troubleshooting - 4 hrs
An educational course that teaches HVAC Service technicians about troubleshooting procedures for both R-22 and R-410A systems. The course features lectures and skill practice sessions that enhance learning. Course content includes basic refrigeration cycle information, evaporator circuits and superheat, condenser circuits and subcooling, TXV and fixed metering. - Gas Heating Systems II (Hot Surface Ignition) - 4 hrs
Service technicians will learn to troubleshoot a residential hot surface ignition gas furnace. Interactive tools will allow you to perform electrical, vent, and gas pressure tests. The sequence of operation and IFC control board are discussed in detail.
